Terms and Conditions

This page contains the terms and conditions. Please review these terms and conditions before placing your order with Yard Card Fairies. Upon placing your order, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions.

1.  Payment is due at time of booking; your booking will be held for 24 hours to give you time to complete payment. Once the 24 hour window has expired your booking will be released and can no longer be guaranteed.

2.  Prices are set based on a certain service area if Yard Card Fairies deems you are outside of their area additional fees may apply. Areas included are Lafayette, Miilton, Youngsville, Broussard, Scott, Maurice and Abbeville. Contact us for additional information concerning service areas.

3.  In the event that you need to cancel your order prior to the day of delivery Yard Card Fairies reserves the right to refund half of your payment or you have the option to reschedule within 6 months of cancellation at full value. Cancellations made day of are not eligible for any refunds.

4.  In the event we arrive and are unable to set because of something outside of our control, example locked gate with no gate code provided, animal left out in yard, wrong address, etc we will attempt to reach you to rectify the issue.  If we are unable to get in contact with you, we reserve the right to cancel set up with no refund. 

5  In the event of severe weather, we will not be able to deliver your order. In the event that inclement weather prevents us from honoring your booking request and we are unable to reschedule a full refund will be honored.  Severe weather is extremely high winds, lightning or flooding.

5.  The greeting will be delivered on the eve of your event date unless otherwise requested by customer. All Yard Fairy greetings are typically set up after 9:00pm and will be picked up the following day after 6:00pm.  Early morning delivery and pick up are also available upon request.

6.  All greetings are meant to be pleasant surprises. Please remember to notify the homeowner so that any arrangements that need to be made can be. For example, lawn service rescheduled, sprinkler systems turned off, animals put indoors.  At least one adult in the household must be aware that we are coming to card the yard.

7.  All signs remain the property of  Yard Card Fairies.  Any damage, destruction or tampering with signage is prohibited. Signs should not be moved without consent from Yard Card Fairies. You are responsible for replacement of any damaged or missing signage, graphic or stakes.

Number:  $10.00

Stakes:  $5.00

Flash Signs: $20.00

8.  We may post a small yard advertisement in your yard. It will be tasteful and in no way interfere with your yard display. Please DO NOT move or remove the sign. This is one way of advertising for our company.

9.  Yard Card Fairies reserves the right to decline any orders political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our company. 

10. Please do not let children play near the signs.  The stakes are sharp!  Do take many pictures with adult supervision.  Yard Card Fairies is not responsible for any injuries.
